Download Your Giving Statement

Important Notice:

To ensure the deductibility of your LifePoint contributions, do not file your 2011 income tax return until you have printed out your giving statement. Why is that? Good question!  The IRS requires that your giving statement be provided to you prior to you filing your taxes.  When you print your statement, be sure your printer settings include headers and footers, so your statement will have a printed on date listed. This shows the IRS you had your statement prior to filing your taxes, so be sure to keep a printed copy of it.  In the event that you are audited or need to provide a copy of your records to the IRS, it is imperative that all statements (not just your LifePoint giving statement) are dated prior to your tax return filing date.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a giving statement?

A giving statement is a detailed record of tax-deductible tithes and offerings given to LifePoint Church from members of your household.  Your giving statement will be helpful to you in preparing your taxes.

When is my statement available?

Your statement is available to you 24/7.  As soon as a contribution is received and processed through the bank, it will appear on your statement.  However, we do  recommend waiting until January 10th before printing your statement out for tax purposes to unsure all tax-deductible contributions are included on your statement.

Is it this system secure?

Absolutely! We take your security very seriously and have chosen a system that makes it easy for you to access you giving schedules and records, but also protects you.

What else can I use this system for?

Having online access to your contributions is a feature we are pleased to offer year-round.  You can log in at any time to view your giving for both the current calendar year and the previous year (simply choose the year you'd like to look at under Contribution History).  You can also set up recurring contributions, or make one-time gifts quickly and easily from home using an electronic check or your debit card.  To access this in the future, click on "Give Online" through the MyLifePoint tab on the website.

I've logged in but do not see any contributions.  What's going on?
